Laurence Higgins, an enormously fat black cat, has breakfast with Mrs Higgins, lunch with the Normans, tea with old Mr Mason and supper with the Barclay-Lloyds. None of them know why he is so fat on just one meal a day! Lawrence is happy until he finds the walking from house to house tiring and begins to get indigestion. His friends tell him to lose weight if he wants a girl friend so he begins to spend one day in four with all his owners. Triumphantly Lawrence returns to his four meals a day, spurred on by the thought of meeting Bella when he's back to his normal size.

Children's stories

A bind-up of four Diamond Brothers stories in one volume. Nick diamond is a thirteen year old boy living in London with the dumbest 23 year old ever.

As I have just said in the title these books in this series are absolutely amazing. It has some absolutely outstanding comedy *spoiler alert up ahead* like this joke “the times said you were a banker.” NOW that was a misprint. As you have just seen the comedy is quite rude but that makes it even better. I have really enjoyed this/these books and I highly recommend this or the whole series of books!!!! It is about a privet detective and his younger brother Nick. The privet detective is very dim so his younger brother cracks the case…every time. It is highly recommend them to you comedy lovers.

I really enjoyed this book because it had a lot of funny bits nearly in every page. However her little sister Brianna is a little Rascal.  Brianna gives Nikki a horrible time at home and she also makes Nikki super duper annoyed I hope you will enjoy reading this book.
