Isabelle: Isabelle is a nice little, young girl with hair going to just under her ears. She wears a red dress with a little cardigan, and she is Hugo’s friend.

papa George: George is Isabelle’s god father, and he owns a toy store in the train station. he is also very good at magic tricks. He wears a black blazer and black trousers.

Plot of the story: Hugo is an adventures young boy who lives in the train station and then something happens and he’s left alone  with his uncle which is an alcoholic. He tries to fix what was left behind. Hugo had a notebook that got stolen by someone. What happens next?

Recommend: Yes because its a good book for someone who likes adventurous books. I would recommend this book to any ages.

Plot of the story: Hugo wanted to finish the Automaton that his dad started to make until his dad sadly died in a fire accident but, he didn’t have the money. He started to steal parts until he got caught and to make up for his stealing, he had to work behind a toy store. Then he made friends with a girl named Isabelle. Then he started to find out more about her life.

Rating: 8 out of 10

I would recommend this to a friend because it’s very interesting and the story line is very good.

I think the book Hugo Cabret is suitable for ages 7+, because lots of words are hard to read and hard to pronounce. People that read hole books should read Hugo Cabret, only because you need to read it all to understand what goes on.

The book is about a boy called Hugo, who’s dad died in a horrible fire, then he really really wants to recover a machine called the Automaton from the fire , things got in his way. An old man, called Papa George, happened to take his special note book and made him earn it back. He worked on the stalls all day and all night but still didn’t get the book, he had to steal it. He was glad he did because he found out stuff nobody knew!

Plot of the story: Hugo lived at a train station with his dad and they’re  trying to fix a robot called the automaton. They live by sneaking around and getting food without being caught. His dad goes to work 1 day a week and goes to the museum. Hugo got put in jail and found keys and escaped after that he ran for his life.

would you recommend it? Why?who to?: I would because its a very interesting book and creates lots of images in your mind. I would recommend it to all of my friends and family.
