It is about a 12 year old boy called Hugo Cabret that works secretly in a train station. He must steal food and drinks for his own survival. He also steals toys from the toy booth in the station hoping not to be caught by the station inspector, or he will go to an orphanage. But then he finds out an amazing, yet horrible secret. How will his adventure end...?

In my opinion the book is quite bad and ended to quickly. I would not feel this way if there was a sequel but as there is not one yet. It was a bad book because it had to many pictures and most of the time they were not needed. The chapter weren't all around the same amount of pages. Some would have 20 with 12 of them being unneeded pictures but then some would have 10 with 1 picture that was needed and then the rest was just BORING text.
