Year 2 Regular Tasks

While you are not in school here are some activities you can be doing daily at home. Each week make sure you look at our Weekly Learning Activities document at the bottom of this page to see what new learning you can be doing at home. 

Remember your planner has lots of ideas and resources to support your learning. E.g. sound mats, high frequency words, common exception words, map of the UK and the world.


If you run out of books to read at home here is a list of e-books and audio books listen so you can continue to read three times a week.

The Maths Factor 

There are a wide variety of maths lessons, interactive games and printable worksheets of the Carol Vorderman Maths Factor website.  During the period of school closure, this is free to sign up to.


Joe Wicks will be doing a live workout every day called 'PE with Joe' on his Youtube Channel, TheBodyCoachTV.

This will take place Monday to Friday and will start at 9am.
